Do you like free stuff?
Ok, I thought so. Keep reading.
Influenster is basically a product sampling service just like Birchbox and whatnot, with a few distinct differences.
1.) It's 100% free
2.) The boxes come less frequently, and you are not guaranteed to get each box.
Since joining the website I've received two boxes. (In about 4 or 5 months.) To get the boxes, you fill out your profile on Influenster, linking it up to your social media sites. You then roam around the website, unlocking 'badges' and writing reviews of products. The more active you are on the site, the more likely you are to get the boxes. And the boxes are good.
So the theme for their most recent box was Beauty Bloggers. This is what I received in mine:
1. Kiss Ever Pro Lashes starter kit
- I have never ever worn fake lashes.. they scare me. But I'm definitely going to give these a try, probably on Halloween.
2. Goody Spin Pin
- I actually have some of these already.. and they do not work in my hair. Maybe if I put 4 in at a time they will? Ha! I've heard they work wonders for most people, though.
3. NYC IndividualEyes Custom Compact ($4.99)
- I don't wear eyeshadow, like, ever. This compact comes with 4 shades, a primer and an illuminator. The last time I wore eyeshadow was two years ago. I'll definitely experiment with this and see if I can figure it out.
4. Not Your Mother's Kinky Moves curl defining hair cream.
- I totally do not have curly hair.. but this says it also tames fly aways and frizz so I might be able to use it anyway. Plus.. it smells ahh mazing.. so I'm sure I'll put it in my hair just so it smells better. (The link takes you to Ulta.com where Not Your Mother's products are BOGO 50% off.)
5. Bath and Body Works mini candle in Cider Lane
Who doesn't love Bath and Body Works candles? Exactly.. everyone loves them. This one smells amazing. Obviously. They included a coupon code that can be used online, for $10 3 wick candles (regularly $20). Up to 5. So buy away! Code: F126566
6. (EXTRA) Vitabath Fragrance Mist in Grapefruit Vanilla
- Based on your survey answers and demographic, you qualified for one of two extras. I got the Vitabath fragrance mist in grapefruit vanilla. At first glance, I'm not a huge fan of the packaging. But it smells so good.. so I can overlook that.

I got this same box last night! It's funny, because I have curly hair and they gave me the one for straight hair, and visa versa for you. I used mine today because it helps frizz and it has made my hair look awesome, so you should try yours.
