She's Bad at Reviewing Things

Some of you have asked me about the books I've read that seemed to take up so much of my time last week. Keep in mind that even though I'm 23, I'm in no way mature. I completely skip over the regular 'fiction' part of Barnes & Noble and go straight to Teen Fiction. On to the books.

The Scorch Trials by James Dashner

This is the second book in a series.. so you probably shouldn't just start with this one. That also leaves me in a weird spot of trying to review it without giving away things that you'll find out in the first book. So how about I just don't. I recommend this series though. I have two thumbs and they're both pointing up.

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

I have about.. zero bad things to say about this book. If you're looking for a book that will eat your heart out and destroy a box of tissues, read this. Read it even if that's not what you're looking for. Read it even if you hate reading. READ IT.

Divergent by Veronica Roth

I pretty much devoured this book. I ate each page one by one. Not really, but I read it in a day and a half.. and then started googling when the next book comes out. NOT SOON ENOUGH. I have one qualm with this book. Tobias is a stupid name. Aside from that, I loved it. It's about a world (country) divided into five specific factions. Each faction values one specific trait and they live by it. There's a war, some backstabbing, and some kids just trying to fit in. And a little bit of love. Whatevs. I loved this book.

Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card

I'm probably the last person on this planet who hadn't read this book. I hadn't even heard of it til about 6 months ago. Obviously I am a sheltered child. The book is 6 bucks at B&N. Just go buy it, you'll love it. Then again, this is assuming that some of you are as sheltered as I and haven't already read it.

I have read 3 of the 4 and I'm 25! Have no fear we do exist! (I've also read an obscene amount more of YA books). I absolutely love reading them. I'm currently listening to The Hunger Games (i already read it, but it's excellent to run to) while also reading "Going Bovine" by Libba Bray, which is pretty good so far! You ever want to talk YA books, I'm here!

I haven't read any of those books.

Pretty much because I fall asleep instantly, instantly if I read. It started happening in 2011, and it hasn't stopped. OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGOSH, am I dying?

I run a YA Book review site and I about died of GUSHING about The Fault In Our Stars. I wrote my review about 20 minutes after I finished the book so I was definitely still all snotty and blubbery...it's just so so so good! I'm in love with Augustus and Hazel and Isaac. I've also got Divergent in my queue in about 2 weeks, I hear such great things about it! Tons of book blogging friends have advanced copies of Insurgent and I'm hearing it's better than the first!
