Washington

Once upon a time, far too many summers ago, I went to Washington for the first time. I fell in love. I don't think I've ever been to a more beautiful place. It would rain every morning for a couple of hours, then the sun would come out and the day would be absolutely gorgeous. Everything was green and amazing. I loved the architecture. I couldn't stop staring at the beaches. I loved being surrounded by trees and grass and life. I couldn't help but be jealous of every single person that gets to live there. My brother and sister in law included. I am definitely going to be paying them another visit someday. Soon.

Anyway. I was feeling really nostalgic about it all and wanted to share some of the pictures I took while I was there. I only have a few left, because most were on my old laptop which crashed forever ago.

(This was my favorite day. The picture doesn't show it, but I was up on a cliff that overlooked the ocean. It was so gorgeous!)

wow. gorgeous! esp. the clouds and beach picture, like everyone else said... you really captured that in-between storm/sunshine moment. I hope you're feeling more confident today; it's easy to get bogged down in life this time of year. But you're not alone! I always like to empty my head out in a journal, the process of writing on a blank page really helps me feel better :)
