I've tried a lot of burgers in my time.. really. What self-respecting American hasn't?
So imagine my pleasure when I tried Five Guys for the first time.
I promise you I did not get lettuce and tomato on a bun. There's a burger hidden in there somewhere. A sweet, delicious, amazing burger.
For those of you who have never tried it, think In-N-Out, but slightly better. The burgers taste pretty similar, but the fries completely own In-N-Out's. There is really no comparison.
And if you have never had In-N-Out OR Five Guys.. well. I'm sorry. I'll think of you next time I'm eating a heavenly cheeseburger.
So there you have reason #327 of why Utah is better than California. (At least the part that I lived in!)

I love lots of toppings on my burgers so I was pumped when I found out they'd put whatever on it at no additional charge! Man, this is making me want Five Guys for dinner now.....
I've had Five Guys once before and it was an amazing experience. You mentioning it makes me want one for dinner tonight. mmmmmm
We now have both and in n out and a five guys where i live...except I don't really eat at either, they both only serve burgers and I don't eat burgers, but I'm a fry connoisseur and five guys has gooood fries.
If I can ever make it out to visit, we are going!!! <3

I've only had Five Guys once, but it was absolutely delicious. I was just talking to my Dad about In-N-Out. We've never eaten there, but were talking about planning a trip to one someday.
If you like Five Guys and haven't tried Smashburger, you're really missing out. I like Five Guys burgers but Smashburger is like Five Guys X10. My husband, who makes amazing burgers at home, even thinks Smashburger is the best burger he's ever had.
They are definitely some of my favorite burgers, so yummy!
I tried Smashburger when I first moved here..to be honest, I wasn't a huge fan. It might have been because I was kind of sick, but I ate maybe half of the burger and gave up. I just didn't like it. :-(
Ahhh drool Five Guys is the best burger and fries I've ever had in my life. YUM.
Wow, I've heard of Five Guys but now I have to try it. :) Next time I vist my friend in Utah I'll check it out. :)
