DIY Pore Strips

This is a quick and easy DIY face care project. All you need:

Unflavored gelatin (I got mine at the grocery store for 2 bucks)
Milk

  • Mix 1tbs of the gelatin with 1tbs of milk in a microwave safe container, it should have a thick consistency.
  • Microwave 10 seconds
  • Use a brush to apply it to the desired area (usually the nose). I used a cheap foundation brush from Target, then rinsed it out right after I applied so I didn't ruin it.
  • After 10 minutes (or when it's completely dry) peel it off.
  • Then stare at all the nasty dirt you just pulled out of your face!

This is a fun, easy, effective and cheap alternative to store-bought pore strips. Just a warning though, it does smell a little funky. Have fun!

That is awesome! Biore strips are so expensive so you can only buy one of the kinds, I tried to cut the nose one and get it to work on my chin and forehead, and it totally didn't work and was a waste of a good strip. I'm totally going to try this!

I shall be trying this soon. Hopefully I remember to get unflavored gelatin and not my regular JELLO!
