It Couldn't Wait... Utah!

Ok.. so it's here. And it only took me about two days. My trip to Utah..

I left on Wednesday. Two hours late.. but I left. I got there at oh.. 3 or 3:30, boyfriend came out to greet me :) and my week o'fun began.

Now, excuse my memory. It isn't so great. But this is as accurate as I might get things.

When I got there we basically just went to a few stores. Walmart of course.. and I believe we were looking for a gingerbread house. But not just any gingerbread house.. one that wasn't already put together. His idea! Anyway, we then rented Twilight. Mostly because I wanted to see New Moon and he said he wants to know what he's getting himself into.

Thursday was of course, Thanksgiving. We had a Thanksgiving lunch at his aunts house.. and it was yummy. I still think it's funny how it seems like everyone makes the exact same things on Thanksgiving. But hey. After that, we went on a short little hike. I have no idea where it was, but it was pretty. We went to Walmart again and boyfriend bought Life. The board game. So we played that (coughIwon) and relaxed the rest of the night.

Friday was a quiet day. We took a walk in the morning to look for his dog (by the way.. they found him!) Before we went back, we went to where his mom works. She introduced me to the ladies she works with and they all knew about me. I'm seriously flattered that his mom talks about me to her coworkers! Good things, you know. We went driving around then, and I met a few people boyfriend works with. He needed to prove that I'm real.. because apparently they want him to get a girlfriend that's closer. Boo.
After that we went to Cafe Rio (amazing!) for lunch. Then ventured into a few stores, coming away with Super Mario Bros. for Wii. We spent.. too much time playing that game. I'm sad that I can't play it with him right now! But that's pretty much all we did the rest of the night.

Saturday.. was a great day. And the only day we took any pictures. Sorry! But on Saturday we went to Zion. It was my first time there and I love it! I can't get over how gorgeous it is. We spent some time walking around, and went on a hike. After a while, we decided we couldn't go on much longer without some McDonald's, so we headed back. Yeah, we're both piggies. So we grabbed some food and went back to his house. Dirty Jobs marathon + McDonald's + boyfriend = amazing. We finished the day with some more video games, and at 11:30 it was time for me to go to bed. :(

Sunday morning.. there isn't much to tell. I woke up at 3:45 to leave at 4. Boyfriend woke up with me, and helped me take my stuff out. Before I left, he.. prayed for me. It meant.. a lot.

It was hard to leave. Really hard. But I got to spend a week with him, and will get to see him again soon. He was amazing to me the entire time, in more ways than I can explain. I love him, his mom is amazing and I wish I knew the rest of his family better. Am I gushing yet? I love him.

Ok, picture time!

Zion is basically my second home-seeing as it's a 45 minute drive from my current residence. i would have to agree it's one of the most beautiful places in the world. also, did you see any polygamists while you were at walmart? that's pretty much my favorite part of shopping in southern utah.
